Published UK private prices are higher than the reference prices we hold for Turkey for the treatments we compare. Lower operating costs and a competitive private market are often given as reasons, but price alone says nothing about quality — compare what is included, the materials, the dentist and the warranty.

The price you can rely on is the one in a clinic's written treatment plan after it has examined you. Ask what is included, what would cost extra, and whether the price changes if further treatment turns out to be needed.

Payment terms are agreed between you and the clinic in the written treatment plan. Get in writing what any deposit covers, whether it is refundable, and what you would pay if the plan changes.

A clinic must meet a documented standard before it is listed: a valid practice licence, a confirmed sterilisation and hygiene standard, named and credentialed dentists, and an on-site or documented audit. No clinics are listed yet, so none has been verified. See How It Works for the full standard.

It depends on the clinic, the dentist and the treatment, as it does anywhere. The UK General Dental Council advises speaking to your own dentist first, asking who will treat you and how they are regulated, and getting guarantees, aftercare and the cost of any remedial work in writing. It also cannot guarantee that standards abroad are the same as in the UK.

Treatment is agreed between you and the clinic, and Clinicest is not a party to it. Before you book, ask who pays for corrective work, including flights and hotel, and how long the work is guaranteed, and get the answers in writing. See our guide to dental aftercare when you return to the UK.

It depends on the treatment. Some, such as crowns or veneers, can often be done in one stay; others, such as All-on-4 or implants, commonly need two or more. Ask for the schedule in writing — each treatment page explains the usual pattern.

According to GOV.UK, British citizens can visit Turkey without a visa for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, and the passport must have an expiry date at least 150 days after arrival and at least one blank page. Rules can change, so check the latest GOV.UK travel advice before you book. Other nationalities should check their own government's advice.
