- Ask who will carry out the treatment, what their qualifications are and which professional body regulates them. The GDC regulates dental professionals in the UK only; it cannot guarantee that standards abroad are the same.
- Ask whether the work is guaranteed, for how long, and who pays for extra flights, hotel and remedial work if something needs putting right.
- Get the plan, the price and the warranty in writing, and do not feel you have to commit on the day.
