Veneers in Turkey: Cost, Process & UK Patient Guide

Short answer

Veneers are thin shells bonded to the front of teeth to change their shape, colour or alignment. Porcelain veneers usually need some healthy enamel removed, which is permanent — so how many teeth, which material and how much is removed matter as much as the price.

Reference range in Turkey: €150–350 (about £129–301) per veneer. UK private price guides: £500–1,200 per veneer.

How much does Veneers cost in Turkey?

Turkey — Clinicest reference range

€150–350

about £129–301 · per veneer

UK private — published price guides

£500–1,200

per veneer

Both guides give £500–£1,200 for a porcelain veneer; composite veneers are quoted far lower (about £150–£450) and are a different, shorter-lived product.

Prices are indicative and may vary depending on examination, treatment plan and included services. Turkey figures are Clinicest reference ranges pending clinic-confirmed price lists, shown in euros with an indicative conversion (about £0.86 per €1, not a live rate). Only a written treatment plan from a clinic is a price you can rely on.

Who veneers are for

Veneers are used for chipped, worn, discoloured or unevenly shaped teeth, and for small gaps. They are a cosmetic treatment on teeth that are otherwise sound; teeth that are heavily broken down usually need crowns instead. A good dentist will also ask whether a less invasive option — whitening, composite bonding or orthodontics — would give you the result you want.

Porcelain, zirconia and composite

  • Porcelain (for example e.max) is thin and translucent and is the usual choice for natural-looking front teeth.
  • Zirconia is more opaque and strong, sometimes chosen when a tooth needs more coverage.
  • Composite is applied directly to the tooth, usually needs less or no enamel removal, and is priced and lasts very differently. It is a different product, not a cheap version of porcelain.

Trips and timeline

Porcelain veneers are made in a laboratory, so the usual pattern is preparation and temporary veneers first, then fitting of the finished set a few days later — often within a single stay of about a week. Ask for the dates in writing and how many fittings are planned, and whether the shape and shade can be approved on a mock-up first.

Risks and limits

  • Enamel removal is permanent. Preparing a tooth for a porcelain veneer usually means shaving some enamel, which cannot be put back. Ask how much will be removed from each tooth.
  • Sensitivity, chipping or debonding, and the need to replace veneers in future.
  • Results depend heavily on the dentist's aesthetic judgement and planning, not only on the material.

Treating many healthy teeth at once is a bigger decision than treating one or two. See Hollywood smile for full-set makeovers.

Turkey and the UK

Veneer prices are quoted per tooth, so compare per tooth to per tooth — never a per-tooth price against a full-set price. See the veneer cost comparison for the ranges, units and sources.

What to check before you book

  • The number of teeth, the material and the price per tooth, in writing.
  • How much enamel will be removed, and whether a less invasive option was considered.
  • Photographs of the dentist's own comparable cases, and a mock-up of the planned result if possible.
  • What the warranty covers, and what happens if a veneer chips or comes off after you have gone home.

Aftercare when you are back in the UK

Keep your records and the details of the materials used, and tell your own dentist your plans before you travel. See dental aftercare when you return to the UK.

What affects the price

  • Material: porcelain (e.max or similar), zirconia or composite are priced very differently.
  • How many teeth, and whether the price is per tooth or a package.
  • The dentist’s aesthetic experience — ask to see comparable cases.
  • Whether whitening, gum contouring or a bite guard is included.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a veneer cost in Turkey?

Clinicest’s reference range in Turkey is €150–350 per veneer (about £129–301). Published UK private price guides quote £500–1,200 per veneer. These are indicative ranges, not quotes: the price you can rely on is the one in a clinic’s written treatment plan after it has examined you. Veneers are priced per tooth, so compare per-tooth prices with per-tooth prices.

Do veneers damage your teeth?

Porcelain veneers usually require a layer of healthy enamel to be removed, and that cannot be restored. Ask how much will be taken from each tooth and whether a less invasive option, such as composite bonding, would suit you. Composite generally involves less or no enamel removal but is a different product.

How many trips do veneers take?

Often a single stay of about a week: preparation and temporary veneers first, then fitting of the finished set. Ask for the schedule in writing, including how many fittings are planned.

What is the difference between veneers and a Hollywood smile?

A Hollywood smile is not a separate treatment. It is a full-set makeover, usually veneers or crowns across the visible teeth, so it is the same technique applied to many more teeth.
